Cheesy Egg-in-a-Hole Breakfast Sandwich

Spread butter on one side of each bread slice. Using a round cookie cutter or a glass, cut a hole in the center of each slice. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and place the bread slices, buttered side down. Crack an egg into each hole. Cook until the egg whites start to set. Flip the slices carefully. Top each with shredded cheese. Cover the pan and cook until the cheese melts. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot and enjoy!
