Start by washing the mint leaves and guava thoroughly. Slice the guava into chunks and deseed it. Finely chop the small red chili. In a blender, add the guava chunks, chopped chili, and sugar. Blend until smooth. Strain the mixture to remove any solids. In a large pitcher, pour the soda. Add the strained guava-chili mixture to the soda and stir well. Add the mint leaves to the pitcher and gently muddle them to release their flavors. Let the punch sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve over ice and garnish with a mint leaf for a refreshing and spicy kick.
